Steve made a great recommendation for the Larson/Thompson wedding celebration for Aug 16th in Vung Tau city. Drinks and nibbles at Steve's house, catered from 2-6pm. Then dinner at Quan Tre for short, or 'Nha Hang Vuon Bien Quan Tre'. I am missing 7 accent marks on the long version, and I dare you to try to pronounce it.
It is an elegant open air restaurant. We will have a group of 30 people with semi-arranged seating. Our goal is to mix up the people a bit so you all sit next to a stranger and a friend to encourage new conversation.
Steve my Dad and I went to the Quan Tre with two ladies, Hue and Van. We spoke with the manager in order to set an appointment to negotiate the evening dinner party. I think everyone will have a great time and enjoy the food.
It was a full moon this night and Van had to leave early, which made Hue a lucky woman. Three handsome men and one beautiful woman. She was lucky indeed!
